2026 Summer PGA Junior League
Join the 2026 Cove Cay Junior League Team – an exciting program tailored for young golfers aged 6–13, this inclusive team welcomes beginners, intermediate players, and advanced talents alike. The team is open to the public, so all kids are welcome.
In a positive and encouraging atmosphere, juniors dive into every facet of golf: mastering rules, etiquette, on-course strategy, and teamwork. They'll sharpen their skills, forge lifelong friendships, and grow their passion for the game.
As a competitive travel team, we play matches at Cove Cay and other courses across Pinellas County – so get ready for some road trips with family! Every participant needs their own golf clubs.
Our season runs from May to August, featuring weekly skill-building practices that emphasize technique, course smarts, and team tactics. Matches happen once a week, typically on Thursday or Saturday afternoons/evenings.
*Practices will be held on Wednesday evenings from 6-7:30pm. The first practice will be on Wednesday May 20th and continue every Wednesday until July 22.
* The match Schedule will be released in May.
“Chris started working with Mark just as he turned 4. It became transparent from the very first lesson that Coach Chris’s passion for engaging junior golfers is rivaled only by his ability to connect with kids at the early age. This allows Chris to teach golf fundamentals through fun, without a child even noticing it.
This summer Mark qualified for the IMG Junior World Championships and US Kids Golf World Championships for boys ages 6 and under.
Though Mark’s golf game is still developing, it is Chris Ardolina who set him on the right path. Thank you Coach!””
